Irish rock band The Saw Doctors say they are ready to go back on the road with a new tour.

The group hasn’t played together in a while as lead singer Davy Carton was having trouble with his voice. In the meanwhile, guitarist Leo Moran and drummer Padraic Stevens have been touring together and have brought out a number of albums. Moran and Stevens toured the U.S. last year.

Carton recently told The Connacht Tribune that his voice is now back in shape and he hopes to be back on tour early next year.

“It is the only job I know how to do so I have no plans to pack it in anytime soon,” he said.

According to the band’s website, The Saw Doctors next album will be released in 2020.
