Emilie Pine's "Notes to Self" has been named as the 2018 An Post Book of the Year

The An Post Irish Book of the Year 2018 has been revealed as Emilie Pine's "Notes to Self," a series of essays in which Pine writes about a variety of aspects of her life including fertility, feminism, sexual violence and depression. She also addresses her personal experience of a family members addiction.

“I’m delighted and honored to win Irish Book of the Year. I have been so moved by the generosity and support of readers over the past six months," Pine said of her win.
