The Sound of Ireland is bringing Ireland and the world together to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with eight days of programming amplifying the best Ireland has to offer.

This St. Patrick's Day, make The Sound of Ireland your soundtrack for the best of Irish music from Thin Lizzy, The Pogues, Fontaines DC, Sinéad O Connor, Pillow Queens, The Dubliners, and Wild Youth to name a few.

Listen in this week as presenters fill the public in on amazing tales of the Irish Diaspora - inventors who created the bacon rasher, ejector seat, flavored crisps, hypodermic syringe, and color photography.

The station will also explore members of the global Irish Diaspora with Irish ancestry such as Rihanna, Tom Cruise, Muhammad Ali, Bruce Springsteen, and Kurt Cobain.

The Sound of Ireland will transport listeners to the Emerald Isle as they give a thorough roundup of must-see tourist destinations and a fun guide to uniquely Irish expressions for any would-be visitors to Ireland!
