Internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Paul Brady is the guest of honor at this year’s National University of Ireland, Galway Gala Dinner.

On November 18, 2009 the university will host the third annual event at the Metropolitan Club in New York City. 

Brady will give a special performance at the event. 

Past honorees at the gala include Gabriel Byrne, Former President Bill Clinton and Loretta Brennan Glucksman, the Chair of the American Ireland Fund.

Brady has been at the forefront of popular music in Ireland for more than 40 years and is widely recognized as one of the country’s finest singer/songwriters. 

Over the course of his career, Paul Brady’s songs have been recorded by many international artists including Tina Turner, Cliff Richard, Cher, Carole King, Art Garfunkel, Bonnie Raitt, Joe Cocker, Trisha Yearwood and Phil Collins.
