The troubled starlet could be on her way to a comeback as Lindsay Lohan has been named the host for “Saturday Night Live” on 3rd March as well as being cast in the role of Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime network biopic “Liz and Dick”.

This will be Lohan’s fourth time hosting “SNL” and her first since 2006 when her legal dramas and rehab trips began. It was announced last Saturday that Jack White, of the White Stripes, will be the musical guest.

In the Lifetime movie she is set to play the role of the much-loved Taylor. The movie will tell the tale of Taylor’s many marriages, including her marriage to Richard Burton. Of course, there was one stipulation to her getting the gig – she has to stay out of trouble with the law.

Lohan is set to appear in court on Wednesday (22nd February) for her penultimate probation hearing. If all goes well with her community service she will be free from the court system on 20th March.

Last month, LA Judge Stephanie Sautner praised Lohan’s community work at the LA County Morgue. She said “I'm pleased to say she's done it all. Just keep doing what you're doing, you appear to be doing it well.”

Do you think this could be the beginning of her big comeback?
