It’s official! Robert Downey Jr is the biggest star in Hollywood,  Liam Neeson is the second most likable (After Tom Hanks) and Daniel Day-Lewis is ranked 21st biggest .

New York Magazine’s annual list of who is hot and who is not, who is naughty, who is nice, who is most critically acclaimed, who is most targeted by the tabloids, who is most popular on Twitter is out.

Meanwhile,  there is no place on the top 100 actors list for Colin Farrell or Saoirse Ronan, even though older actors such as Sylvester Stallone and Sean Penn make it.

The market research firm E-Poll says the ten most likable (As against most popular) stars include Liam Neeson at number two, while the 60-year-old is the 29th biggest star in America, an amazing feat for the Antrim actor.

Meanwhile Robert Downey Junior whose mother Betty McLoughlin, was of Irish Catholic background, is the undisputed star of the silver screen,beating off Leonard di Caprio and Jennifer Lawrence.

The magazine says Downey has been unbeatable at the box office since 2008 and “Iron Man”
Daniel Day-Lewis is only rated at 21st place despite his record third Oscar for “Lincoln.”

Carey Mulligan makes it into the “Most Critically Acclaimed” list at Number 6 and the “Rising Fast”category at number 5.
