Rosie O'Donnell made the announcement on her blog on Monday that she would be moving to Harpo, Oprah Winfrey’s company in Chicago this fall to host her own talk show.

She also said she would be starting websites and magazines around the globe leading to speculation that O'Donnell would be taking over from the Queen of talk shows Oprah Winfrey.

O'Donnell will be starting her own talk show in the fall on Oprah's OWN network but she has no plans to take over from the Oprah. However she did thank Oprah and talk about how excited she is about working with Harpo in Chicago.

In her video blog O'Donnell said "I just wanted to say hi, and I'm coming to Chicago…It's a huge thrill for me, and I'm beyond the beyond….Thank you Oprah, and thank all of you who will be sticking around and helping us make a kick-ass show for the Oprah Winfrey Network."

She added, chastising one of her children making noise in the background, "Quiet. Mommy's working."

O'Donnell won six Emmy's in row for her previous talk show "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" which ran from 1996 to 2002. O'Donnell was formerly a host on "The View".

In a statement issued by Oprah she said "I'm delighted to welcome Rosie to the studio I've called home for so many years. Speaking from experience, she will be working with the best team in television in one of the greatest cities in the world."

And quite the show O’Donnell plans to make! According to reports in People Rosie has said "I want to build on what Oprah began and excelled at for 25 years, in my own style and with new adaptations and ideas. I would like this show to make a difference in viewer's lives, to be real, uplifting, authentic and focus on life, love and laughter."
