Irish dancer Jake O’Shea channeled Beyoncé's 'Sasha Fierce' for his “The Greatest Dancer” audition

Jake O’Shea seriously impressed the judges during his audition for BBC One's “The Greatest Dancer” when he merged Irish dancing with one of Beyoncé's hit songs.

O’Shea, a six-time All Ireland Irish dance champion, began his audition with a masterful performance of a treble reel, but he really got the judges excited when his music abruptly switched over from traditional Irish dance music to Beyonce’s “Diva.”

Todrick Hall, one of the judges on the panel, told Jake afterward: “You turned into Sasha Fierce!

“Not only do I want to tap with you, but I would also maybe like to go to the club with you!”

Another judge said: “You were creating music with your feet, which is just so incredible."

After the successful audition, Jake runs off the stage to scoop his excited sister and proud mom into big hugs.

“It really is like a dream come true,” said Jake, “I’ve worked my whole life for this moment.”
