An American Airlines pilot was greeted with this incredible rendition of an Irish blessing after his final flight.

Get the tissues ready! This heartwarming video was exactly what we needed.

American Airlines Capt. Brian Lenzen recently hung up his wings with a final flight from Dublin to Chicago. His last flight could not be let go unrecognized, however, and so the members of the St. Anthony on the Lake choir surprised him as he emerged from the gate with this absolutely lovely performance of an Irish blessing.

Captain Lenzen was clearly very touched as the choir greeted him, as were many of those who gathered to watch.

The church choir sounds phenomenal!

The line comes from a longer blessing which can be read in full here:

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face;

the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
