Patti was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer, in 2018 but did not share her diagnosis publicly until 2024.
While appearing virtually at a cancer research fundraiser, Bruce revealed that Patti is now cancer-free and thanked doctors for all they do.
He said: "As you know, Patti's been living with her multiple myeloma for over eight years, but now, thankfully, she is in remission.
"However, like millions of families facing cancer, we've learned what every patient learns: Hope has a face. It's our physician, who refuses to stop searching and caring. It's our nurse, who sits beside us when we are scared."
Bruce, who was speaking at Boston's Pan-Mass Challenge fundraiser, which raises money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, went on to speak of the importance of medical research.
According to the Daily Mail, he added: "Patti's journey has taught us something I hope every one of us and every American can understand. Medical research isn't an idea. It isn't politics. It isn't a line in a budget.
"It's the reason families find hope when hope seems hardest to find. When we lose sight of that, we lose sight of one another, and that's too high a price for anyone to pay."

Patti, who has three children with Bruce, first spoke about her diagnosis in the documentary "Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band", explaining why she didn’t tour as often anymore.
She said: "This affects my immune system, so I just have to be careful what I choose to do and where I choose to go.
"Every once in a while, I come to a show or two, and I can sing a few songs on stage, and that's been a treat. That's the new normal for me right now, and I'm OK with that."
Bruce’s positive update on Patti’s health comes after the couple celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in June.
The couple first met in the 1980s, with Patti joining Bruce for his 1984 "Born in the U.S.A." tour as a backup vocalist. After Bruce split from his first wife, their friendship turned romantic, and they tied the knot in 1991.
Bruce and Patti share three children: Evan, Jessica, and Sam.
