The U2 frontman has four children — Jordan, Eve, Elijah, and John — with his wife of more than 40 years, Ali.

While Eve is an established actress, Elijah is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the rock band Inhaler, and John is also an actor.

Jordan is also pursuing a career in the music world, and this week released her debut single under her stage name, Jordan Joy.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Jordan announced the news, writing: "Excited to share this song… Don’t Kill the Vibe is one for the kitchen party.

"I wanted the sound to bring me back to indie New York, and what I was listening to when I lived there."

The song is already receiving rave reviews, with one writing: "Absolutely divine! So excited for everyone to hear this."

Another added: "So good!!"

A third echoed: "It’s just sooo goood!!"

Among the big names praising the new track from Jordan are R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, John Lennon’s son Julian, and actress Jessica Alba.

It’s not Jordan’s first venture into music, with the 36-year-old previously releasing three songs under the alias Tenderhooks.

The eldest daughter of Bono has an undergraduate degree in political science and a Master’s degree in creative writing from Columbia University.

Ten years ago, she founded the tech company Speakable, which aims to promote social activism.

The company landed Hewson a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2019 for her role as a social entrepreneur.

The artwork, a black and white photo of a woman with her head thrown back, is credited to photographer Grace Burns, who Hewson branded her "sis."

The photographer, who boasts 99,000 followers on Instagram, has been romantically linked with Jordan’s brother, Elijah, since 2023.

It comes amid a busy time for the Hewson family, with the youngest sibling, John, appearing on RTÉ’s "These Sacred Vows" earlier this year and set to appear in the upcoming film, "Finnegan’s Foursome".

Meanwhile, Bono and his U2 bandmates are fresh from releasing two back-to-back EPs with "Easter Parade" and "Scars".
