Michael Flatley will appear in a limited number of performances of "Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games" when the hit Irish dance spectacular returns to London’s West End next month.

The dance icon will take to the stage at the Dominion Theatre for the first 12 days of performances, from March 13 – 24, before young star James Keegan takes over the lead role for the rest of the show’s run.

The production, which combines groundbreaking technology, dancing robots and world champion acrobats, had its West End premiere at the London Palladium in 2014 with musical appearances from Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle.

The show’s 2014 run was intended to mark Flatley’s last West End appearance, but the dance star couldn’t resist returning one last time to a London stage. Talking about his return to London, which precedes a brief appearance on the show’s tour, Flatley said: “These will be my final performances in the UK and Ireland. After years of punishment, my body just can’t take any more!

“I’ve always dreamed of bringing my show to the West End and the response of the audience when we performed at the Palladium last year was exhilarating. We just had to come back to the West End. The Dominion is such a fine theater; its layout is perfect for our type of show.”
