Today, the Zoo announced that the historical Haughton House building which overlooks all the action has been restored to mighty glory.

The venue is available seven days a week, catering for all types of wedding ceremonies, from civil partnerships to vow renewals and blessings, with a dedicated full-time wedding coordinator even on hand to assist in the planning.

For animal fanatics, is there a better prospect than hosting your drinks reception in the interactive Learning and Discovery Centre, surrounded by your favorite furry friends? (A photo opportunity if we ever heard one!)

Dublin Zoo, opened in 1831, is one of the world's oldest and most popular zoos.
