An Irish internet user has taken to TikTok this week after believing they spotted a UFO over County Meath.

Sharing clips on an account named ‘Sky Watcher Ireland’, the user documented an unidentified aircraft flying out in a rural area of the county on April 23.

Taking to the short form video site, the sky watcher was met with a number of comments from those equally perplexed as they were.

'More from last night. This is some of the clearest videos I have so far,’ they began. ‘One of many, causally flying over my house and close by for many hours every night? They are the size of a medium size passenger plane, like an Airbus. So they’re big.

‘What kind of power source would something this big have to be able to fly for 7 hours straight? It should be a lot louder than this too.’

Sharing their suspicions, they continued: ‘AI keeps telling me it’s a UFO/UAP. It does not resemble any known craft???’

Replying to comments, the user revealed they’ve been recording similar sky activity in the area since September of 2024.

They also revealed that it’s not just one aircraft they see, but multiple: ‘I’d estimate about 15-20 an hour in the sky. And they’ve been doing this for over a week maybe 10 days, for hours each day.’

When asked if they believe it’s connected to Dublin Airport, they confirmed that they’re ‘miles away’ and that none of the aircraft are registered on Flight Radar.

What do we think folks? Have aliens made their way to Meath?
