Tipperary export Brian Shinners has been named as one of the dating app's most sought-after users.

The world-renowned mobile phone dating app exclusively revealed the thirty "most-fancied" users across the UK and Ireland to Cosmopolitan magazine.

Tipperary native Brian Shinners was named as one profile who had been "super-swiped" all the way into the top thirty.

The Riverdance star has been performing with the company since 2011. He is currently on a world-wide tour with his fellow Irish dancers.

According to the dance troupe's website, Shinners "started dancing at the age of 3 with the Fleming Ball School of Irish Dancing under his teacher Linda Ball Hoban."

The 28-year-old has a Primary School Teaching degree with a minor in German.

A keen fitness fan, his bio apparently reads "Love all sports; athletics, football, tennis. Animal lover – especially dogs!"

Shinners, who also models and was once a campaign star for Bulmers cider, told Cosmopolitan that his main draw to a fellow online dater is "someone who’s physically active" while "cockiness" is the ultimate turn-off.
