There’s not much that can make an airport proposal in December more festive, but Santa joining in on the celebrations is definitely up there.
Dublin Airport took to social media on Wednesday to post an adorable video of a young couple getting engaged in Terminal One.

Onlookers cheered and applauded as the couple embraced after an emotional "yes" was declared.
As the loved-up pair reeled in the emotions, Santa Claus stopped in his tracks as he was walking by.
He wished them a sweet "congratulations" and joined in for a group hug.

Plenty of social media users were quick to share their love of the proposal and wish the couple all the best for their future together.
One Instagram user wrote: "Aw congratulations. How lovely Santa stopped too."
Another added: "Well done Santa… right on time."
A third shared: "That’s so sweet!! Congrats to the happy couple!"
Yet another commented: "Cutest video I’ve seen all day and the hug from santy."

The joyous couple are a part of a record number of passengers going through Dublin Airport over the Christmas period.
Preparations are being made around the clock to accommodate a massive 1.8million incomers and outgoers over the next couple of weeks.
The travelling numbers are expected to be up by 22% this year, according to the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA).
This means 330,000 more passengers than the same period last year, with 96,000 people expected to head through their gates over the 19-day Christmas period (December 19 – January 5).
The busiest day of the period is expected to be Sunday, December 21, with 110,000 people anticipated to pass through the gates.
Post-Christmas is also set to be a hectic time, with Sunday, December 28, expected to see a whopping 115,000 passengers depart and arrive.
Meanwhile, the seven days leading up to Christmas will see around 350,000 passengers arriving at Dublin Airport.
They will be welcomed by the airport’s biggest ever festive entertainment programme with dozens of local choirs and top musical acts lined up to perform at the terminals.
