A County Waterford church fundraiser from 2014, with costumes are more Panti Bliss than Michael Flatley, has suddenly gone viral.

A new roof was needed for St. Mollerans Church in Carrickbeg, Co Waterford and desperate times for desperate measures. Irish people are born performers and locals decided to put their entertainment skills to good use in order to raise funds for the church.

Enter a local community group called "Carrick Relief". The group regularly performs in aid of charities.

So they put together their own unique take on Riverdance. Classic tunes from the hit routine, such as Lord of the Dance featured, the Irish dancing was in the spirit of the professionals - albeit slightly more free spirited and evidently more tiring. The costumes are more Panti Bliss than Michael Flatley but the hairstyles were pretty similar.

The packed audience were roaring with delight and Carrick Relief are currently planning their next big performance in aid of the homeless.
