Bristol’s largest Irish dance troupe is set to be the opening act at the famous Harbor Festival this weekend. After a massively successful 50-strong flash mob performance at St. Patrick’s Day the troupe is up to the challenge.

The O’Malley School of Irish Dance, in the south west of England, will be the first Irish dance troupe ever to perform at Bristol’s famous Harbour Festival, on July 19.

Kate O'Malley, founder of the O’Malley School told IrishCentral theirs is “Bristol’s biggest Irish dance school and after our 50-strong crowd of dancers flash mobbed Bristol for St Patrick's Day. We are honored to be opening the dance stage.

She continued “We’re promising fast paced, fancy footwork that’ll have the crowds clapping along and wanting more as team of 22 world-class dancers take the stage.”

The O'Malley School of Irish Dance was founded in 2007. The school is registered with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha and offers classes in traditional Irish dance to children and adults.
