Conor McGregor has given €10,000 (approx. $11,620) to a sick Irish boy who needs surgery.

Last year, 5-year-old Bryan Buckley, who is known as Bru, was diagnosed with sepsis, which has since left him unable to eat or walk and with an NG tube in his nose, BreakingNews.ie reports.

His mother Grainne started a GoFundMe page in an effort to raise funds to help Bru “get private care and the help he deserves.”

Despite being set up in July of last year, the fundraising page had raised just over €3,000 out of the €10,000 goal.

McGregor then made a donation of €10,000 to the account.
