The pictures were released yesterday ahead of the company submitting plans for the project.
Located in Cherrywood, the Prime Arena would be Ireland’s first multi-purpose arena and hub for winter sports, featuring two Olympic-sized ice rinks and an 8,000-capacity arena, expandable to 10,500 for major events and concerts.
If granted planning permission from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, the developers hope the project will attract more than 1.5million visitors annually.
It is due to be designed by Populous, the company behind venues including the Aviva Stadium, the Sphere in Las Vegas and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Dermot Rigley, the founder of Prime Arena Holdings, said: “Seeing these images for the first time brings this project to life in a way that words never could.
“This is a world-class design for a world-class venue, and it gives people across Ireland a real sense of what we are building in Cherrywood.”

The developers are looking for a State contribution of €66m for the stadium.
Prime Arena Holdings is backed by MCD founder Denis Desmond, Setanta and Premier Sports founder Mickey O’Rourke, and tech investor and Hostelworld co-founder Tom Kennedy.
Mr Rigley wrote to Enterprise Minister Peter Burke last November to outline the business case for the development.
He stated: “A one-off State contribution of €66m (29% of €225million) will unlock €159m in private investment, significantly below the public-funding norms for comparable European venues (40-80%) and well under national benchmarks such as the Aviva Stadium (47%) and Croke Park (42%).”
