Mischa Barton is planning to move from Los Angeles to London with her new boyfriend DJ Ali Love.
A source told Heat magazine that “Mischa’s found a great new guy. She can’t wait to move to London to be with him. It’s already in the works.”
The actress best known for her role in “The O.C.” was born in Hammersmith, west London to an Irish mother, Nuala Quinn. She moved to New York City when she was six but still feels a great affinity with the U.K and Ireland.
In an interview she said “I actually feel more comfortable in England a lot of the time…I like people to discern that I'm an English-Irish girl who grew up in New York.”
Barton now hopes to launch her career in London’s West End theatre district.
A friend said “Instead of Hollywood gigs, Mischa’s focusing on a stage career in the West End. She wants to spend a year in London and see where things go with both the theatre and Ali. She’s so happy to be starting afresh. She’s so in love!”
