Australian Supermodel Miranda Kerr |
The 29-year-old Australian supermodel is sporting a neck brace after the car in which she was a passenger alongside her assistant was hit by another vehicle while they were traveling on a Los Angeles freeway.
A spokesperson for the Victoria's Secret beauty confirmed to Australia's 9 News: "She is in a lot of pain but really, we are just glad that it was not more serious."
The model's British actor husband Orlando Bloom and their two-year-old son Flynn were not in the car during the accident.
Miranda's mother Therese Kerr also assured her fans that she is doing well.
Alongside a photograph of roses on her Instagram profile, she wrote: "I've had lots of people on social media asking if Miranda is ok. Thank you all for your beautiful thoughts, prayers and well wishes, it means so much to us. Please know that Miranda is fine.
She was involved in a car accident and is currently having to wear a neck brace, but thankfully she is ok and Flynn wasn't in the car with her. Everyone is fine so please don't worry. Sending you all much love and gratitude xxx Therese (Miranda's mum) #mirandakerr"
Miranda immediately underwent a MRI scan following the incident and was photographed wearing a neck brace yesterday, which she tried to conceal with a large scarf.
It has been reported that the driver of the other car was arrested and may face charges for reckless driving.
