Although Mark Wahlberg is currently playing Irish boxer, Micky Ward, in "The Fighter" is seems that the 39-year-old, father of four, is really a big softie deep down.

Wahlberg will be gracing the front cover of December's U.S. Men's Health mag. In the interview he admitted that he once got weepy while watching a show about American Idol winner, Fantasia.

He said "I always like seeing people succeed.

"I was watching the [VH1 documentary] "Behind The Music" on Fantasia with my wife and I must have cried five times.

"My wife was like, 'You're such a softie, but that's why I love you'. I'm just always happy to see people overcome the odds and achieve their goals, you know?

"It's a wonderful thing."

The star, famous for his roles in "Boogie Nights", "Fear" and as the producer of the massive HBO hit "Entourage", also revealed in the interview that he's been so busy that he hadn't had time to go on his honeymoon with his wife, model Rhea Durham.

Although they got married in last August they simply have not had time.

He said "We've been married for over a year, but I was shooting "The Fighter" at the time.

"I flew home on a Saturday morning, we got married [that] afternoon, had a party at our house and then Sunday morning I was back on a plane.

"So we're taking our honeymoon now in the Bahamas."

"The Fighter" will be released on December 10, 2010.
