Mariah Carey

The '#Beautiful' singer was rushed to hospital after taking a tumble while filming a video for a remix to her hit single - which was directed by her husband Nick Cannon - and the songbird insists the accident was down to her feeling fatigued during the long shoot.

She explained on TV show 'Entertainment Tonight': "It wasn't Nick's fault, it was my fault. Honestly, I had been working for a really long time, and you know how when you're posing? I was posing, and my arm was like [shaking]. It was shaking at that point, so it was very fatigued. And about the ninth take, the tenth take, I was on a roll, darling, a roll! And the next thing I knew, I was on the floor, baby ... on cement."

Despite her injuries, the 43-year-old star returned to the set to complete the video after being discharged from hospital and was hailed as a "trooper" by Nick, 32, with whom she has two-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

He previously said: "She's such a trooper. I was going to rush to the hospital with her, but she said, 'You get back in there and finish that video!' Then, after they put her shoulder back in place, bandaged her all up, she came back to the video early in the morning and finished out everything."
