A 27-year-old man in Derrylin, Northern Ireland is being held on suspicion of murder after 3 people died in a house fire. 

The fire erupted in a rural bungalow in Co. Fermanagh on Tuesday morning, with the roof already collapsing by the time fire fighters arrived at the scene. The three victims were all members of the same family. The suspect was apprehended at the scene. 

Det Supt Jason Murphy of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said: “At this time we believe the fire, which has claimed at least three lives, was started deliberately. 

“We are continuing to thoroughly examine the scene along with our colleagues in the Northern Ireland fire and rescue service.”
