Could MMA star Conor McGregor follow Ronda Rousey and leave the UFC for the WWE?

Ronda Rousey recently left the UFC for the WWE, so could Conor McGregor be next to follow her out the door?  WWE legend John Cena says he’d relish the chance to grapple with the Irish megastar, who hasn’t been in action since Floyd Mayweather beat him in a boxing ring last summer.

“Would I ever be up for getting in a ring with Conor McGregor? Absolutely, but that would mean he would have to be up for getting in a WWE ring, so let’s not put the cart before the horse ladies and gents,” Cena told YouTube channel The Hook.

“Let’s see what Mr. McGregor wants to do and then figure it out from there. I’m not the one to hand out invites. I don’t do that. That’s not in my job description, that’s gonna be up to him.”

It probably won’t happen, but if the price is right who knows? Conor has trashed the WWE on multiple occasions and Cena in particular.

“He’s 40 years of age (and) he’s walking around in a luminous orange T-shirt and a headband talking about nobody can see him,” Conor once said. “We can see him right there. He’s a big, fat, 40-year-old failed Mr. Olympia motherf***er!”
