Jonathan Rhys Meyers was looking great during an outing Malibu last week, a nice contrast to how paparazzi found him a few months ago in London looking disheveled and disoriented, liquor bottle in hand.

JRM, 38, has plenty of work lined up, including a role in the upcoming film Shambhala, a survivalist drama set in the Himalayas, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"We've got a really sensitive, intelligent actor in Rhys Meyers," said producer Mark Montgomery. "With all the problems he's faced, what the press said about his troubles, we can definitely work with this guy. We're backing Jonathan."

Meanwhile, the Golden Globe winning actor is still trying to unload his two-bedroom home in the Laurel Canyon section of Los Angeles. He purchased the place, complete with swimming pool, in 2007 for $1.595 million. His latest asking price is now $1.5 million, which means that he’ll take a loss.
