Bono never misses the front row at the New York fashion shows for Edun, the ethical clothing line he created with his wife Ali several years ago. But the poor thing must still be in the wars after his horrible Central Park bike crash last year that left him with all kinds of broken bones, so the U2 frontman, who will tour later this year with the band, was a notable no-show when Edun models hit the catwalk on Sunday afternoon.

Vogue high priestess Anna Wintour was there, as was supermodel Helena Christensen and of course Ali, who was joined by her two lovely lookalike daughters Jordan, a journalist, and Eve, an actress.

The weather in the NYC and all the Northeast has been frightfully cold, a fact that Ali made note of.

“We’ve had the most ridiculous once-in-a-hundred-years heat wave on a show day, and now we’ve had two world-record-freezing-cold days,” she recounted. “We’ve even had a mini tornado. I don’t know why people come to our shows. It’s terrifying.”
