Senator Chris Dodd's Irish cottage made it onto Fox TV at the weekend courtesy of Connecticut State GOP chief Chris Healy and his vacation camcorder.
Turns out that Healy spent his summer vacation in Ireland and must have just stumbled upon Dodd's Irish hideaway on the tiny island of Inishnee in County Galway.
Inishnee, which is in Roundstone Bay near the village of Roundstone, is just about as out of the way as you can imagine. And given that the population is just 26, Healy must have stood out like a sore thumb.
Anwyway, despite extremely dodgy production values, FOX61 was happy to show the video of Dodd's cottage on "The Real Story'' with host Shelly Sindland on Sunday morning.
Healy narrated the video - in as much as we can call it a video - pointing out the views of the “Twelve Points of Ben."
Maybe Healy's looking for a new post as a tour guide in Ireland?
