Conor McGregor provided a lengthy update to his fans on social media on Sunday, November 23.

McGregor, who lost his appeal in July of the November 2024 civil case that found him liable for the sexual assault of accuser Nikita Hand in Dublin, had announced to his online followers on October 6 that he was "out of here for a bit."

The Irish UFC fighter, who failed in his attempt to get on the ballot for Ireland's Presidential election this year, returned to social media on Sunday with an unexpected update.

The Dublin native said he was "blessed to meet the most forward thinking doctors from Stanford University and undergo a series of treatments to address trauma."

He said he traveled to Tijuana, Mexico, to undergo "Ibogaine treatment at AMBIO," which he said is featured in the Netflix documentary "In Waves and War."

Researchers at Stanford Medicine have found that ibogaine, a plant-based psychoactive compound, "safely led to improvements in depression, anxiety, and functioning among veterans with traumatic brain injuries."

"It was incredible, intense, and absolutely eye opening," McGregor said of his ibogaine treatment.

"I was shown what would have been my death. How soon it was to be, and how it would have impacted my children.

"I was looking down on myself as it happened, and then I was looking out from the coffin.

"God then came to me in the Holy Trinity.

"He is MIGHTY!

"Jesus, his child. Mary, his Mother. The Archangels. All present in heaven.

"I was shown the light.

"Jesus descended from the white marble steps of heaven and anointed me with a crown.

"I was saved!

"My brain. My heart. My soul. Healed!

"I was 36hours under before I finally rested.

"When I awoke I was me again.

"The most enlightening and enchanting experience I have ever undertaken.

"This treatment is worth its weight in GOLD!

"It is very, very tough, but it absolutely saved my life, and in turn saved my family.

"Thank you for all your inspiration, motivation, encouragement, well wishes, support, and most importantly, for your prayers!

"THEY WORKED!

"I am my child again. But this time with the knowledge of my adult!"

McGregor thanked his family, friends, and fans for supporting him.

"Baby, we did it!," he proclaimed, adding, " The World is in for a treat!"

He continued: "To God, I am yours!! Thank you for bestowing upon me this incredible blessing that I take with great care and absolute seriousness! I live my life per your word and nothing more. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!"

He signed off his message, which at time of publication has received more than 44k likes, writing: "Your Great Grandson, Conor McGregor"

Sunday's update comes just days after McGregor and his legal team were granted permission to serve papers to Sky News; he claims he was defamed by a Sky journalist who allegedly called him a rapist following his civil case in Dublin last year.

Meanwhile, McGregor is still facing allegations of sexual battery in Miami, Florida. A joint motion to extend the deadline for McGregor's response to the complaint to December 2 has been granted, noting that "the parties are currently in discussions regarding Plaintiff’s allegations in the Complaint."
