Preparing for The Summit Championships

For new followers of our journey - Killarney Scorchers Summit Team are preparing for The Summit Championships in Florida in May. The Team from Killarney Ireland are hard at work on their routines and conditioning under the direction of coaches Danny and Hayley. 

For cheerleaders competing at such a high level, hours of practice goes into trying to perfect the routine.  Routines require athletes to cheer dance, jump, tumble and stunt and this requires the cheerleader to have great endurance, strength, flexibility and balance.

The Quest for Sponsorship continues

Killarney Scorchers’ journey in search of sponsorship and funds continues.  As well as seeking sponsors for the team – uniforms, training gear, shoes, bows, tracksuits, backpacks the Killarney Scorchers’ hard working committee are also busy concentrating on getting sponsors for their biggest fundraising event – “A Night at the Dogs!” 

Sponsors will have the opportunity to promote their business in the Official Race Program by sponsoring a full or half page, sponsoring a race or indeed becoming a main sponsor for the evening.  It will be a wonderful night out for all the family with bouncing castle, face painting , music with maybe even a few surprises on the night! 

 We are delighted that main sponsors and race sponsors have been secured and all that remains available is sponsorship of full or half pages on the program - Sponsors are invited to make contact with Barry or Brian our Sponsorship Co-ordinators by emailing scorchers.sponsorship@gmail.com.    A full page costs €100 for your company’s advertisement and €50 for half page – for our American sponsors  - dollars are also accepted – Barry and Brian can be contacted for further information on all sponsorships.
