Denis Keohane, a Milton resident for the past 22 years and originally from Kinsale, Co. Cork is seeking re-election to the Milton Board of Selectman on Tuesday April 28th in the town elections.

In 2012, Mr. Keohane became the first foreign born person to be elected as a member of the Board of Selectman by beating a 12 year incumbent and has for the past three years worked tirelessly for all residents of Milton.

A real estate investor and developer in the cities of Boston, New Bedford and Fall River, Mr. Keohane came to the United States in January 1988 at the age of 21. He is married to Mary (from Arlington) for the past 24 years and has three daughters aged 21, 20 and 18. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business and is also a professional speaker for the real estate industry in the Northeast.

“It has been my privilege to serve the people of Milton for the past 5 years, two years on the school committee and three years on the Board of Selectman, the highest elected office in town Government and with your help I want to continue my public service to the town and the state that has been my home for the past 27 years.”
