The family of Andrew Hughes (35) from Dublin is urging the public to help find the Manhattan resident who has not been in touch since late November 2023.

Andrew Hughes, who is originally from Dublin but lived in County Wexford, has not made contact with his family since late November 2023. His family, who have no contacts in New York, are seeking help from the public to find Andrew.

On Facebook, Hughe's mother, Geraldine wrote "Anyone in NYC seen my son Andrew Hughes...no contact from him not on Social Media...phone turned off...his family in Ireland are desperate to find him... [sic]."

The Aisling Irish Community Center, in Yonkers, shared her pleas online. On Facebook, they wrote: "MISSING PERSON -

Andrew Hughes, male, 35 years old, Irish. Hasn't been in contact with his family in Ireland or online since before Christmas, was living in Manhattan. Police have been contacted. Please comment on this post if you have any information and share this with anyone who might know more. Family has no contacts in New York so any help is appreciated."

Hughes has been described as tall with short brown hair and blue eyes. He has lived in New York for the last seven years. His family believes he lives in the Manhattan area. The Irish Independent has confirmed that the police have been contacted concerning Andrew Hughes' case.

According to the NYPD, "More than 13,000 people were reported missing in New York City last year. While most are promptly found, hundreds of people become missing long-term (missing for 60 or more days.)"
