Thanks to the eerie masks worn by robbers, a recent suburban Chicago bank heist looked like a scene from the movies, federal authorities told the press this week.

FBI spokesman Ross Rice in Chicago told the New York Post that the TCF Bank branch in Palos Heights was robbed on Sunday afternoon by two hoods wearing nun masks and habits like those featured in the Irish American themed film The Town.

The bank surveillance camera footage provided by the FBI after the bank job replicates the eerie disguises that have slits for eyes and were worn by robbers in the successful 2010 Ben Affleck film.

Authorities say the pair of daring robbers pulled out handguns and forced an employee to retrieve bundles of cash before they made their getaway.

Authorities are now investigating the case, but to date no arrests have been made.
