Martin O’Malley, former Maryland governor and lead singer of the Celtic rock band O’Malley’s March, will visit New Hampshire in March.

O’Malley, who is weighing a bid for the Democratic party nomination, will address a fundraiser in Concord and then appear at the annual “Wild Irish Breakfast” in Nashua on St Patrick’s Day, McClatchyDC.com reports.

“Governor O’Malley will indeed be busting out of the stereotype of the Irish-Catholic, Irish folk rock music-playing pol by joining the good people of New Hampshire this St. Patrick’s Day,” said O’Malley spokeswoman Lis Smith.

“Status on whether or not he will be bringing his musical talents remains to be determined.”

O’Malley has already made several trips to New Hampshire, the nation’s first primary state; however, this will be his first visit for 2015.

O’Malley has said he’ll make a decision on a candidacy this spring.
