The purpose of "Win a House in Ennis" is to help fund the construction of a full-size Astro pitch in the Clare GAA Training Centre in Caherlohan.
Clare is currently the only county in the province of Munster that does not have a full-size Astroturf GAA pitch. A winter facility would address many of the shortcomings in the existing facilities and enable Clare GAA to share with their sister organizations as they grow their games and increase the number of female players participating in Gaelic Games.
The raffle is also designed to raise substantial funding for the clubs of the County, with €20 of each ticket sold by the clubs being allocated to the club nominated by the purchaser.
