He told Rebecca: "We now have a reality where at least 1 in 20 children in school have an autism diagnosis. At the same time, we’re seeing a generation of people in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s who grew up in an Ireland where there wasn’t that understanding and who are now accessing diagnosis as adults."
Adam continued: "And I suppose the reality is the infrastructure is not there to support – and in As I Am, what we’re trying to do is be that voice that says yes, that meets people where they’re at, that meets people as they are, and that tries to provide timely support."
