Ireland is incredibly lucky to have a language and music that is respected and applauded the world over. This August, IrishCentral will be celebrating them even further in our Music and Language Month.

Fáilte romhaibh chuig Céiliúradh Cheol agus Gaeilge ar IrishCentral!

We've had a dedicated Irish language and an Irish music section on IrishCentral for some time but with the All-Ireland Fleadh and Milwaukee Irish Fest, among many other music festivals, taking place this August - as well as hundreds of Irish language students currently improving their fluency in summer camps - we thought it was about time we had a proper celebration.

This August, we're celebrating Gaeilge (the Irish language) and Irish music with a series highlighting those around the world speaking and learning Irish and playing Irish music. Throughout the month, we'll look at ways you can learn the language wherever in the world you are, discover what is your very favorite Irish song and even travel to some of the best Irish music festivals in the world to bring you to the heart of the action.

We're also be hosting a very special Pop-Up Gaeltacht to be announced later in the month.

You can find all this and more in our music section here or in our Irish language section here. You can also follow it all using the hashtags #ICGaeilge or #ICMusic.
