A Tyrone school-girl has is fast becoming a You Tube sensation after her appearance on the UK talent show ‘X Factor’.

Janet Devlin from County Tyrone appeared on the show during the first episode of this years’ series on August 21 and her official audition has already clocked up more than one million views.

Performing a cover of Elton John’s classic ballad, “Your Song”, the 16-year-old school girl wowed the judges and audiences alike, during the London stage of the audition.

Speaking after her performance Irish judge Louis Walsh said “Janet I don’t think you have any idea just how good you are, and that’s what I like about you.”

“You’re so likeable and you’re from Ireland,” he added.

With the young Tyrone school girl through to the next round of auditions, her YouTube channel already boasts 20,000 subscribers.

A student at Drumragh Integrated School in Omagh, she is now a favorite to win the competition.
