Months of preparation and build up will come to an end tonight as Irish megaband U2 kick off their 360 Tour at the Camp Nou in Barcelona.

Bono, The Edge, Adam and Larry will rock the soccer stadium and unveil the much-anticpated tour to an estimated 90,000 screaming Catalans.

The famous Irish foursome who make up the world’s greatest rock band had a full dress rehearsal last night, and everyone is expecting tonight to be even better when the real thing starts.

This will be the most expensive show the group has ever put together, and will feature "The Claw," a revolving stage that stands 50m high, 58m wide and 47m deep.

U2 will tour 14 European cities as they wind their way around the continent, including gigs at Dublin's Croke Park on July 24,25 and 27.

Snow Patrol and the Kaiser Chiefs will provide support along the way, and the Dublin gigs will see Irish acts Damien Dempsey, The Republc of Loose, The Script and BellX1 get the chance to share the same stage as one of Ireland’s greatest exports.

The band starts their U.S. tour on September 12 at Soldier Field in Chicago.
