Barretstown Inspirations are bring top Irish acts to New York this spring. Comedian Tommy Tiernan and legendary Irish music acts The Stunning, Mundy and Paddy Casey are set to play Webster Hall this February.

Barretstown, a non profit camp in Kildare, Ireland that provides therapeutic recreation programs for children with serious illnesses and their families was set up by the late, great actor Paul Newman in 1994 and is part of the Serious Fun Network of camps. The first camp was opened in Ashford, CT in 1988. Today there are over 30 camps and programs worldwide.

All of the children and families come to Barretstown free of charge. Everything, including accommodation, food, medical assistance and round-trip airfares are provided at no cost to the family.

Barretstown Inspirations is an annual benefit show that has been running in Dublin, Ireland since 2009.  Previous performers at the shows include Glen Hansard, Sinead O’Connor, Shane MacGowan, David Gray, The Strypes, Gavin Friday, The Coronas, Fun Lovin Criminals and Kevin Godley.
