The Boyle family are doing their best to keep the stardom in the family.

At the weekend, Kerry-Anne Boyle, told judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan that she was Susan Boyle's second cousin but admitted she has never actually met the star.

However, Kerry-Anne's version of "Fields of Gold" received mixed reactions from the judges.

Although Holden and Morgan voted Kerry-Anne through to the next round Cowell suggested they were only doing so because of her relationship to SuBo.

Said Holden, "It is clearly genetic, you've got the Boyle factor",

Morgan added, "It was an incredibly good performance."

However, Cowell added a dampener on the performance- "I think that without the connection with Susan there wouldn't really be much interest to be honest."

She certainly isn't as musically talented as her older cousin but she was pretty decent.

Kerry-Anne, 23 and from Motherwell in Lankarshire, told judges that her grandfather and SuBo's father were brothers.

However, it was 81-year-old Janey Cutler that wowed the judges with her rendition of Edith Piaf's Non, "Je Ne Regrette Rien."

Cutler received over 55,000 hits on You Tube over the weekend.
