The Scottish singing sensation is the focus of touring stage production ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ and while actress Elaine C. Smith will portray her journey from struggling recluse to global stardom after appearing on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2009, the ‘Wild Horses’ hitmaker will take to the stage for the finale of the show.

Susan – who has not performed on the UK stage since the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ tour – said: "I am thrilled to be a part of the musical about my life story and very much looking forward to stepping on stage and performing with the cast. It is an honest portrayal of my life and has been a cathartic process to be involved in."

The show’s musical producer Michael Harrison is excited about having Susan involved with the show.
He said: “Susan continues to defy the odds and surprise the world with her record-breaking albums. I can't wait to see the audience reaction when she walks on stage."

‘I Dreamed A Dream' will open at Newcastle's Theatre Royal on March 23 2012 before going on tour.
