As it turns out, Saoirse would also love to see it. So much so that she’s manifesting an offer for herself, revealing in a recent interview that she wants "to go dark".

Saoirse, who welcomed her first child with her husband Jack in late 2025, is currently promoting her upcoming release "Bad Apples", but she’s already got her eye on her next role.

Chatting with Empire, the Irish actress said: "I want to go dark. I said that I wanted to be a Bond villain and I’m dead serious.

"I think it would be really interesting, having a young female villain. Especially for girls and women, to see someone who can just take all that pent-up anger and direct it somewhere; there’s something interesting in that, dramatically. So I would love to do more of that." We’re all for it!

As it stands, Saoirse’s husband is the bookies' favorite, alongside Dua Lipa’s new husband Callum Turner, to be the next 007.

Jack, who is from Scotland, has already had roles in films such as "Dunkirk" and TV shows including "Slow Horses" and "The Gold", so he could be a good choice for Bond.

Saoirse has chatted about his chances at nabbing the iconic role before, saying on the radio in 2024 that there’s ‘still time’ for it to happen.

If they did end up starring in a Bond movie together, it wouldn’t be the first time that Jack and Saoirse have appeared together on screen.

They met in 2018 when they co-starred in "Mary Queen of Scots", and the couple quietly tied the knot in Edinburgh’s Old Town in July 2024.
