'Twilight' superstar Robert Pattinson has insisted that there are no hidden religious messages in the successful film series.

Pattinson dismissed the idea that author Stephenie Meyer hides her Mormon philosophy within the 'Twilight' books, in a secret attempt to convert readers to the religion.

For example, some believe 'Breaking Dawn' contains pro-life messages. Bella, played by Kristen Stewart, decides to keep a baby even though the pregnancy threatens her life.

But Pattinson disagrees with all the speculation, telling the press this week: 'I think people make up all these Mormon references just so they can publish Twilight articles in respectable publications like The New York Times. Even Stephenie said it doesn’t mean any of that. It is based on a dream.'
