Irish chicklit queen Cecelia Ahern's first foray in to the art world has sunk like the Titanic, as her €250 offering still has to find a buyer.

The mum-to-be's first painting, titled P.S. I love you, has not enjoyed the same success as her same effort in the literary world.

In fact, the image of a red heart on a black background still has to find a home.

The painting is on display at Noelle Campbell Sharp's Cill Rialaig artists' retreat project in Waterville, County Kerry, and is still up for tender.

"We've had a few interested offers on Cecelia's painting though so we're confident that will go in the next few days," said Campbell Sharp.

Don't worry Cecelia, maybe Bertie (her dad, the former Irish Prime Minister) can cut a check for the painting and keep it in the family!
