Three years on from the finale of the Cillian Murphy-fronted "Peaky Blinders" series, the highly anticipated film "Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man" has a release date.
Netflix revealed on December 5 that "Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man" will be in select theaters on March 6, 2026, and will be available to stream on Netflix from March 20, 2026.
The streaming giant also shared the first look at the film's poster, which features Co Cork native Cillian Murphy reprising his Tommy Shelby character.

Netflix has shared a brief synopsis of the upcoming film: "Birmingham, 1940. Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet.
"With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground.

Murphy, now an Academy Award winner, joins Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle in "Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man," while Stephen Graham and Murphy's fellow Irish actor Barry Keoghan also feature.
Ahead of filming, Murphy said: "It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn't finished with me.
"It is very gratifying to be recollaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders.
"This is one for the fans.”

The film, which has now wrapped production, was written by the show's creator, Steven Knight.
“I’m thrilled to see the cameras rolling on this new chapter of the Peaky Blinders story, set during World War II,” Knight previously told Netflix.
“The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders.”

The film's director, Tom Harper, who directed episodes of the show’s first season in 2013, remarked: “When I first directed 'Peaky Blinders' over 10 years ago, we didn’t know what the series would become, but we did know that there was something in the alchemy of the cast and the writing that felt explosive.
“'Peaky' has always been a story about family — and so it’s incredibly exciting to be reuniting with Steve and Cillian to bring the movie to audiences across the world on Netflix.”
Harper added: “There’s a great feeling of anticipation and excitement amongst our outstanding cast and crew.
“We’re grateful to the fans for getting us to this point and believe this next chapter is going to deliver something extraordinary.”
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that "Peaky Blinders" will return for two more seasons. While Murphy is on board as an executive producer, it's unconfirmed if Tommy Shelby will be returning to our screens in the new instalments.
