Just two days before St. Patrick's Day, Lindsay Lohan's latest movie "The Irish Wish" will be released on Netflix and the on-demand TV service has the much anticipated first trailer.

Lindsay Lohan's "Irish Wish" debuts on March 15 and Netflix has finally released that movie's first trailer. The movie which was filmed in Kilruddery House and Lough Tay in County Wicklow, Westport Town, in County Mayo, and the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare follows the story of Lohan, who plays shy book editor  Maddie Kelly.

The leading lady, the former star of "Mean Girls", is forced to put her romantic feelings aside when "the one" gets engaged to her best friend until a miracle happens!

In the new trailer, Maddie travels to Ireland for the wedding of Paul (Alexander Vlahos), a writer with whom she’s been working with. On her way to the wedding, she meets a handsome Irish stranger (Ed Speleers) on a bus. It's then she realizes she's hung up on Paul. Maddie regrets not telling Paul how she feels but doesn’t want to ruin his wedding BUT Paul's engaged to her best friend, Emma (Elizabeth Tan).

Maddie’s mom (Jane Seymour) tells her to “speak up” but our heroine feels it's too late and instead makes a wish to be the one marrying Paul. Hey presto! Her wish is granted!

Of course, Lohan's no stranger to rom-coms, even the slightly magical type. In 2003 she starred in "Freaky Friday" with Jamie Lee Curtis in the classic Mom and daughter body swap romper. Then in 2006 she starred alongside Chris Pine in "Just My Luck" which saw her play the luckiest woman in New York.

"Irish Wish" will be released on Netflix on 15 March.
