Liam Neeson has started smoking again after quitting 16 years ago. The actor blames the relapse on his latest role as the cigar-loving John ‘Hannibal’ Smith in ‘The A-Team’ movie, directed by Joe Carnahan.

“I stopped smoking 16 years ago so it was a real issue for this movie. The props guys got me these amazing fake Cuban cigars, but then I was given real ones. I said, ‘I can’t do this, I’m an addict.’” said Neeson, who was addicted again after just two days of filming.

The 58-year-old star said that he will have to insist on rubber cigars if a sequel is made.

Bradley Cooper and Quinton Jackson also star in the film, a big-screen remake of the popular 1980s television show.
