Ed Helms and his controversial Mike Tyson-style tattoo in "Hangover Part 2"
It may have been a slip up from funny man Zack Galifianakis, but the possible plot for the third of the “Hangover” films has been revealed. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the actor best known for his role as Alan, said that the overall format of the movie will be different from the previous ones. It will not involve a wedding from any of the cast members, or a forgotten night.
Galifianakis said that he has heard that the plot of the movie will focus on Doug, Phil and Stu as they help Alan escape from a mental institution. The events leading to his hospitalization and after he escapes remain unknown, but it sure sounds promising and guarantees at least few laughs from the sequels’ fans.

It was previously hinted at by Bradley Cooper that the third installment could take place in Dublin, so maybe Alan will be making a new home in Dublin’s John of Gods Hospital—until the wolf pack sets him free.
